As part of Axis 7 of the BF program related to the development of international relations between the FTSE and foreign federations and structures operating in the field of equestrian sports, we inform the clubs of the following points:

  1. Exchange of young professionals in the field of equestrian professions and particularly equestrian sports: BF has established a partnership with a French Agricultural High School, providing training in the equestrian profession, for an exchange of young trainees with equestrian structures. This internship is part of their training curriculum and concerns young people already experienced in the profession who can effectively help in various tasks and discover the equestrian world in our country. This experience will include both horse maintenance and the practice of equestrian sports.
  • Age: 15-17 years old, boys and girls
  • Internship duration: 4 weeks

The periods indicated by our partner for the internship in Tunisia are: either between 01/02/2014 and 30/04/2014 or in June 2014.

Accommodation and meals will be provided by Tunisian families of the sponsoring riders, with group activities on weekends agreed upon by the clubs.

Tunisian young riders/licensees sponsoring these young people will have priority if they wish to benefit from similar internships in France (Brittany) as part of the exchange.

We ask the club managers to inform us as soon as possible in writing of their possibilities and arrangements for taking care of these young trainees, specifying:

The number (boys or girls), and the name of the Tunisian sponsoring youth with the principle agreement of their family (father or mother), as well as the preferred period.

A letter to this effect will be sent to affiliated clubs.

  1. A working meeting took place on Saturday 28/12/2013 between the BF and Mr. Alexandre GROS "National Technical Executive," mandated by the FFE to provide all necessary assistance, whether organizational and/or technical, requested by the FTSE. This is within the framework of setting up adapted operational structures to improve the activity of the FTSE and optimize the performance of the permanent working commissions, taking into account their specific missions.
