
Through the member associations, the missions of the FTSE focus on:
- Equestrian Sports Activities
- Organizing, developing, and increasing the practice of equestrian sports, defending its interests, managing its affairs, and ensuring oversight across the entire territory of the Republic in accordance with current regulations.
- Development of the competition calendar.
- Development and updating of its Statute, internal regulations, and sports regulations.
- Participation in the organization, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports, of the pathway to high-level sports.
- Supervision of national teams in various equestrian disciplines.
- Management of rider licenses and the organization of grading exams for licenses to assess the technical level of riders through mastery of riding techniques.
- Sports Structures
- Approval, development, and certification of sports facilities and materials used in equestrian activities by member sports associations and during competitions.
- Supervising the organization of all regional, national, and international sports events.
- Training
- Organizing and monitoring all official or friendly activities at the national and international levels in accordance with current regulations.
- Management of training for officials in accordance with the requirements of the International Equestrian Federation.
- Management of training leading to the awarding of equestrian teaching diplomas.
- Promoting the establishment of athlete training centers within the federation's jurisdiction and ensuring technical supervision of various training centers related to equestrian sports.
- Relations with National and International Sports Bodies
- Managing the participation conditions of associations, referees, and officials in international, continental, and regional sports events.
- Nomination of Tunisian candidates to international, regional, and continental sports bodies after approval from the supervisory authority.
- Creation of national and regional leagues in harmony with the distribution of Regional Directorates of the supervisory Ministry across the entire territory of the Republic.
- Ensuring and developing relationships with national sports structures, public authorities, the International Equestrian Federation, confederations, continental and regional federations, and foreign associations.
- Membership in all organizations through affiliation or agreements to promote equestrian sports.
- Designation of a representative to public institutions related to equestrian activities such as the FNARC and the Horse Racing Company.
- Promotion of Equestrian Sports
- Ensuring the promotion and development of equestrian activities and disciplines.
- Management of promotional actions for equestrian activities: the editing and publication of any documents.
- Organization of scientific sports events, congresses, conferences, and exhibitions related to equestrian sports.
